hey, since your making everything black/red. why not make the messaging background black with the text box red.

Also, the Dialer screen make it black and if you can edit the lines around the dialer to a red that would be cool too.

Re: messaging... I'm just figuring out how to color in the windows. I'll change it as soon as I can. Thanks for the feedback. As for the phone, I like the aesthetic of the current color. Really flows with the theme. May add a black gradient, though. Thanks again.

The Messaging app was red and black until last night(10/5/09). there was an update on preware that said the msg'ing background was black, but when i updated mine it was the original msg'ing color. I'd prefer the dark red and black. that was great.

Nah! we wont be dissapointed.. all that theme needs is the messaging background to be black and the text boxes be red & white. the received messages "red" & the sent "white"

The messaging app has taken a step back. There's no separator between the comment boxes now. The colors are fine. Why did you put the orange bar on the launcher? That bar should be black. The launcher bar is orange adn the header across the top is red. The reason I say make the bar black is your icons would go with any background that way. That orange bar throws it off

In the messaging app, what I am talking about is when you click on an individual chat you've been having with one person. There's no separator at all. Is there a way you can put it up without the orange launcher bar if only for a a few hours? If you can't change the bar to black.

@mainevent3405 Thanks for the heads up on the orange bar. It actually matches the theme beautifully, IMO, though it's hard when you're trying to match HEX colors in the top row. I may go black. Good idea. Re: messaging, all I've done with it is was change the background color. That's it. (If I go too dark, it obscures the "send to" addresses for new texst messages.) But I haven't messed w any separators.

Ok cool, Just try it with the black bar and see how that works. I agree it does match the theme but for people like me, who has the rotating wallpaper, it matches horribly with some of my backgrounds.Black is constant. It goes with anything. Thanks Vara!

I don't know if anyone else gets this problem but everytime I try to download the BB theme it downloads it but the messaging app looks weird. It doesn't fit the screen. It goes to about half the screen then cuts off & has gray. I can't even read the whole text when its like that. Is it just me?

The only things I have changed are the backgrounds for the messaging app, text bubbles, and the text color. That's it. Do you have the "My Avatar" tweak turned on? If so, turn it off. Apparently that tweak does not play nice with themes.

I did an emergency recovery of my tweaks and reinstalled. NOW my messaging app shows the full message with avatar, but now my text is black? Did you change it from the white text?

Step, I think that blue email color bar cant be changed simply because it goes with the importance of the emails. When someone sends me an important email, it IS red. I believe it changes based on urgency.

Prince, install the emergency recovery app from preware patches. It will remove all of your tweaks, but you can reinstall them. Install the avy thru WOSQI styling mod tweaks. It's no longer available in preware anyway. Oh yeah, update the feeds in preware after you do the emergency recovery. PM me if you don't know how to do it.

@mainevent3405 ... I have NOT made any changes. I think the take home point is that since 1.2 update, tweaks and themes aren't playing nice with one another. Plain and simple. Nothing I can do right now to fix that. :-/

Yeah, all I have now is a white background with the red bubbles and black text. However, the avatar is now showing up properly and the messages are not being cut off.

Ok, uninstalled...reinstalled with removed avatar, now the color is back and the text is white again. Just not gonna work correctly with avy, so it's one or the other. I'd rather not use the avy. Thanks Vara. BEST THEME IN THE CATALOG!!

OH, BUT MAIN IT CAN. THERE IS A THEME OUT THAT HAS IT. THE BLUE HEADER IS RED AND THE PAGE YOU TYPE ON IS YELLOW!!! ITS AWSOME!!!!

This is def one of the top themes out, I simply love the BB theme. The black and red colors look awesome on the pre. One question though, When you open up the phone app and you go to the call history, whats up with that Green hue line at the bottom? really takes away from the smoothness, you put the line there on purpose?
